The America's Choice School Design is one of the nation's leading comprehensive K-12 standards-based school reform programs. Over 500 schools in 19 states and the District of Columbia have implemented this proven, research-based program since 1998. Schools, districts and states that have implemented the design value its comprehensiveness, the power of its instructional program, the quality of professional development and technical assistance they receive, and the extensive support that is provided to low-performing students and schools.

The America's Choice School Design is the result of extensive study of the best educational practices in the U.S. and abroad. The aim of the design is to ensure that every student is successful on state and local assessments and prepared for college. The design complies in every respect with the requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind Act of 2001

We focus on five key tasks in readying students for success in today's economy: (1) Standards and Assessments, (2) Aligned Instructional Systems, (3) High Performance Management, Leadership and Organization (4) Professional Learning Communities, (5) Parent/Guardian and Community Involvement

America's Choice program has designs for elementary, K-8, middle, and high schools. We offer them directly to schools. We also work closely with states and school districts interested in using the America's Choice design as the core of their state or district-wide strategies for raising student achievement. www.ncee.org
