SOME FACTS

EXHIBITOR SPACE
  1. There are currently 470 charter schools in California, each school having a budget of $3 million dollars, with over $900,000 of that budget designated to be spent on products and services.  This means a total of $423 million is available for purchasing products and services statewide.

  2. It is anticipated that every year 35 to 100 new charter schools will begin operation.  CCSA's goal is that there will be 1,000 charter schools in California in the next ten year. Based on current figures, that will be a $900 million dollar market for goods and services.

  3. The charter school movement is a top education priority for Governor Schwarznegger and the new California Secretary of Education, Richard Riordan.

  4. Charter Schools have been strongly independent in their decision-making (and they will continue to be).  Now, CCSA is creating an efficient and coordinated sales and distribution channel to more effectively sell to the charter school market.

This is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor in the establishment of this channel and become known as an organization that supports the charter school movement.
